I took the train to Zurich and found the city very interesting. I spent the longest time looking at the Grossmünster church, the Lindenhof and the old town. As I still had time, I went to the Swiss Museum, which was quite interesting as you learn a lot about Switzerland and its history. I also treated myself to a meal in the Zeughauskeller, which was quite expensive, but in my opinion it was worth it
I had a look around the city and then stopped off at a restaurant
Not an insider tip but the Grossmünsterkirche was very beautiful
One of the most famous cities in Switzerland that you should have seen
Exciting city

My trip to Zurich was simply fascinating. The city uniquely combines historical and modern flair. The picturesque old town with its narrow streets and well-preserved buildings transports you back in time, while the vibrant shopping streets and contemporary architecture reflect the dynamism of the present day

I was in Zürich in October 2023. It is the perfect trip to make with friends because the city offers a lot of restaurants and has a very fun nightlife. I recommend visiting the city old town and the cathedral. Also walking around the Zürich lake. If you want to explore the local gastronomy, I recommend trying the typical Swiss fondue. You will find many fondue restaurants in the city center (you should reserve in advance because normally they are very crowded)
Visit: Zürich Old town, take a walk in the Lake Zürich, visit the city Grossmünster
Zürich can be really expensive so I recommend planning everything with time and buying tikets in advance
I really recmmend Zürich because it is very nice and offers a lit of activities and things to do during the trip
Nice old city center
Big gastronomy offer
Very expensive

Zurich is easy to reach via the airport close to the city, or even better by train. Unfortunately, the city is quite car-hostile. Not recommended for those traveling by car, possibly with family and children. Ideal for couples and single travelers. Restaurant tips: Sihlpost and Haldenbach. Cheap restaurant tip: Migros Restaurant in the center. The accommodation is of course expensive, but the quality is correspondingly good. Don't look for bargains for less than 100 per night, otherwise you will be very annoyed.
The biggest highlight is definitely the lake. Tip: with a day ticket for public transport, you can also use the excursion boats
Vegetarian buffet "Sihlpost" at the train station
One of the liveliest cities in Switzerland, also attractive for expatriates
Good transport connections
Attractive old town with interesting restaurants
Perhaps only recommended to a limited extent for families, if only because of the price level

We spent a weekend in Zurich. We visited the old town and walked along Bahnhofstrasse, which is famous for its luxury stores and lively atmosphere. We also visited the botanical gardens and the magnificent opera house. The best way to get around Zurich is on foot, it's a big city but the sights are all within easy reach. We had a delicious meal at Joe & The Juice.
The beautiful old town of Zurich or a hike along Lake Zurich
The Botanical Garden with many different plants or the Langstrasse discotheques and bars
A great mix of beautiful city and nature with Lake Zurich
Very beautiful old town
Switzerland and especially Zurich are very expensive
