This town is a highlight in Tuscany. I would recommend visiting in early summer or fall to avoid the tourist crowds and also to get a parking space, which is rather difficult. The town, like most in Tuscany, is situated on a hill and a short climb takes you to the historic old town. The small alleyways, many restaurants and small stores invite you to linger. The view of the surrounding countryside is absolutely stunning!
