Tropea has a really beautiful old town, and is quite large. The hinterland offers untouched nature, there is a mountain there, if you climb it, you have a really beautiful panoramic view over the city to the sea, that would be our insider tip. The food was always good on site. It's a bit difficult to get here without a rental car, as public transport is very poorly developed.
