Hamburg is one of my favorite cities in Germany. The location on the water is simply beautiful, even though the weather is often bad. I was there in June and had sunshine every day. The Harry Potter play is highly recommended and can only be seen there. The Speicherstadt is wonderful for shopping and really beautiful. The Elbphilharmonie is an absolute eye-catcher and you can visit the platform for free and see the whole of Hamburg from there. There is a ship at the harbor where you can find various escape rooms. These are the best escape rooms I've ever been to. The Hamburg Cathedral in summer is free of charge and an experience. The journey is quick, easy and cheap with the ICE if you book your train ticket early enough. The musicals are also an absolute highlight. You can also take the ferry with your normal ticket, which is incredible fun. You don't even have to book a harbor tour, as you get the same feeling on the ferry. There is everything from delicious and stylish restaurants to fish sandwiches. The hotels have normal city prices. I've also visited the Miniaturwunderland twice, and it's always impressive.

Highligts

Harry Potter, Miniature Wonderland, Speicherstadt, ferry, MOIA, Hamburg Cathedral, Reeperbahn, Escape Room on the ship

It was our first time in Hamburg and we were very impressed. We found a parking garage in the immediate vicinity of the Reeperbahn for 5 euros a day. You also have to visit the Reeperbahn, very interesting, with all the cult pubs and nightlife. The old town is also very nice and can be explored quickly by subway. The fish market, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and a harbor tour with the shipping company are also worth a visit. A performance of The Lion King is also very worthwhile (about 3 hours).

A very interesting city that has a lot to offer. Architecturally, culturally and culinary. I personally liked the buildings on the water best. I was very impressed by buildings like the Elbphilharmonie. In the city itself, you can easily get from A to B by public transport. The city also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine, I particularly liked "Das Dorf", the food and atmosphere there were very exciting and delicious. I can only recommend the city!

Highligts

Of course there are many sights that you can visit, but the Miniatur Wunderland and the Elbphilharmonie

We traveled to Hamburg for a city trip just before Christmas. My husband gave me tickets for the Lion King musical. An absolute must if you are in Hamburg. I can also highly recommend a boat trip. It's very cheap and you learn a lot, especially about the surroundings and the harbor. There are also lots of great places to eat. Our hotel was in Sankt Pauli. There was also a great Christmas market there. The people were all really nice.

Highligts

Musicals are an absolute must. Boat tour with various sights. Great places to eat out. The Christmas markets are great at Christmas time.

The Lion King musical. The Brauhaus am Hafen is highly recommended

I have already been to Hamburg 4 times and there is always something new to discover. I recommend a trip to the Landungsbrücken, but also a visit to the Elbphilharmonie, which is actually free of charge. As the city center is within walking distance of the train station, I would recommend everyone to travel by train and stay at the Barcelo Hotel. The many musicals are also worthwhile and the Christmas market is one of the best I've ever been to!

Highligts

Harbor tour. Elbphilharmonie. Landungsbrücken. City center.

Come and rent Hamburg apartments in Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the biggest city in Europe that does not have the status of capital. The port city is slowly but surely starting to receive its deserved recognition as one of the world’s most attractive tourist destinations. Its main attractions include the magnificent and majestic Alster lakes and lakeside promenade, the Jungfernstieg, the impressive port and historic Speicherstadt city quarter, the State Opera House, the Kunsthalle Art Museum, the Ballinstadt Museum, Church St. Michaelis, regarded by most as the most iconic building in Hamburg's skyline and the colourful, verdant park, Planten un Blomen.
