The Baltic Sea offers many great beaches, sea bridges and lighthouses. Unlike the North Sea, it is not as rough and windy. There are also no high and low tides, making it much easier for children to go swimming. Cities like Kiel, Lübeck and Flensburg have beautiful city centers for walking and eating. Of course, fresh fish is also a must on the coast. In summer it can get very crowded here in some places. Great recreational area in the north of Germany.

The water has a great temperature and a good healthy salt content and you can benefit from a variety of beautiful different beaches along the coast. In my opinion, the special thing about the German Baltic Sea coast is all the seaside resorts that really make your vacation complete.

I'm really impressed by the Baltic Sea, I usually go to the Mediterranean. But here I was really surprised by the white beaches and clear water. In combination with the forest and cliffs, it's simply something special. However, because of the German weather, only short trips are an option for me.
Wonderful beaches with crystal clear water. National parks and cliffs. Great restaurants with good fish dishes. Lots of nature and animals.
Rügen is simply the most beautiful island which really has everything to offer. Nature for hiking, beautiful beaches for swimming. Everyone will find a quiet spot here.
