I was in the Kitzbühel area in May 2023. It was a very nice trip. The village is in the middle of the Tirol area in the Austrian Alps and the views of the mountains there are really outstanding. The area offers many possibilities for sport lovers: such as nice hikes (I recommend the 5 lakes hiking), biking or skiing if its winter season. We stayed at Hopfgarten(15 minutes by car from Kitzbühel) because it was cheaper than staying in the village of Kitzbühel.
Many activities in the nature: skiing, hikings, biking...
I recommend staying in the villages nearby if you want to save some money. Kitzbühel is expensive.
I recommend this trip for people who enjoy sports and nature
Outstanding nature views
Plenty of activities
Quite expensive
Not easy access if you want to fly here

The general travel experience was very nice, as I had already heard a lot about Kitzbühel. I liked the town center best, where there are lots of nice stores and it's a great place to spend time. I ate at the top of the mountain in the Sonnenbühl restaurant. This was also highly recommended. Getting around is also very easy as there are buses and trains. On my next trip there, I would want to arrive a little earlier, as the slopes are emptier then and it is easier to ski.
You could ski very well as the slopes were very good. There were also lots of nice restaurants. Walking through the Christmas market is also a very nice activity. The journey by car was also pleasant.
An insider tip is to go to the Sonnenbühl after skiing to experience good après-ski.
Yes, the destination is highly recommended
Very good ski slopes
Very tasty food
The food is a little more expensive

I liked the small town center of Kitzbühel best. With its small alleyways and stores. The Hahnenkamm was also a very special experience. You can climb it on foot or take the gondola. A breathtaking view awaits you from the top. The huts offer very tasty food, which is unfortunately also very expensive. Kitzbühel also offers many opportunities for mountain biking, which was very nice. With the bikes or on foot, everything was easy to reach to go out to eat in the town center. Kitzbühel offers a travel experience that you won't soon forget.
A visit to the tennis stadium in Kitzbühel. The ascent of the Hahnenkamm. The trail paths with the mountain bike. The town center of Kitzbühel.
The Schwarzsee is highly recommended. Also the Holtel Alpenhotel Kitzbühel right next door.
Kitzbühel has an incredibly beautiful landscape and a special flair in the small town.
A very beautiful nature
Kitzbühel is a little more expensive
Wellness and relaxation
The town of Kitzbühel in Tyrol in Austria is particularly famous for the annual ski race on the Hahnenkamm and wealthy people. Kitzbühel is also worth a visit for the average Joe, especially when it gets warmer, as it does in spring. Kitzbühel is very crowded in winter. We ate at the Pizzeria Centro, for other good restaurants you have to eat outside Kitzbühel in my opinion. The cable car to the Hahnenkamm is very expensive, but it's worth it for skiing and a delicious Kaiserschmarren. It was also very crowded in March, so I would recommend coming in the low season.
Trip to the Kitzbühler Horn. Skiing in Kitzbühel. Good food in Kitzbühel. Shopping tour.
The best Kaiserschmarn is served at the top of the Hahnenkamm. You can park cheaply near the park.
Kitzbühel is the most interesting place to have a coffee and people-watch.
