We spent our skiing vacation in Zell am See. We stayed in a family-run accommodation with a view of the mountains a little away from the slopes. Zell am See is beautiful and perfect for any kind of vacation. In summer you can relax there and in winter you can ski in many of the surrounding ski areas. The ski bus also runs there at all times (if you don't have a car). To relax, I recommend one of the many spas around Zell am See.

As a group of young people, we stayed in Zell am See for three days to take advantage of the local ski areas. Two ski areas can be reached from Zell am See, with the Kaprun ski area within walking distance. The town itself is manageable, buses run regularly. There are only a few supermarkets.

The slopes were all in very good condition. Skiing is great fun. You can see the lake from the gondola
