1. Is the holiday home I'd like to book still available?

Under our booking schedule you have the possibility to enter your designated travel dates. The house is still available if a green price appears. Otherwise, the notification “Unfortunately a booking is not possible for the selected time period“ will be shown.

2. How can I be sure that I really booked the holiday home?

After your booking a confirmation window with your booking number will appear. At the same time you will receive a confirmation from Casamundo on your e-mail address. After about 2 days you will receive the written confirmation from the tour operator.

In case you did not receive any confirmation from your tour operator, please contact us via e-mail, our hotline or our prepared contact form.

3. Is it possible to book a holiday home for more or less than the 7 days indicated on the booking form?

Generally, this is possible in many countries, especially off season. In the majority of cases, aberrant travel dates have to be confirmed by the landlord. Our competent team is ready to help you with your queries from Monday till Sunday via e-mail or telephone.

4. Is the indicated price per person or per week?

After entering your travel date, the length of your stay and the number of persons travelling, a green total price will be indicated.

5. How does the payment process work?

Normally, you have to pay an initial payment which is around 20 to 30 per cent of the total price, depending on the tour operator. The final payment has to be made about 4 weeks before your journey starts. Please note that you can only pay by credit card.

6. Does Casamundo offer any discounts for early birds or any special promotions?

Of course Casamundo has many special offers, both last minute and early bird, as well as other promotions. All discounts are already included in the total price which is updated in real time.

7. Do babies and small children count as full persons?

Babies and small children count as full persons unless stated otherwise in the detailed house description.

8. When do I receive my travel documents?

You will receive your travel documents after the tour operator has received your full payment (about 2-4 weeks before your departure date).

9. How and where will I get or give back the keys of my holiday home?

With your travel documents you will also receive an itinerary, contact details of your landlord as well as the address from where you can get the keys of your vacation home (if it is different from the address of your residence).

10. At what time can I arrive / leave?

The general time of arrival is between 3-6 p.m., the departure has to take place until 10 a.m. Other arrival and departure dates are generally possible; however, they have to be reconfirmed by the landlord.

11. When and to whom do I have to pay the deposit?

The deposit is due on location to the landlord. Mostly, it has to be paid in cash.There are, however, some houses where the deposit has to be paid directly with the rent. If that is the case, it will be stated in the house description.

12. Are there bed sheets, towels and dish cloths available on site?

Generally, you have to bring your own bed linen, towels and dish cloths unless otherwise stated in the description of the house. Mostly, you have the possibility to order these items for a small fee. If you are interested in doing so, please do not hesitate to contact us; we will forward your orders to the landlord.

13. What additional expenses can be expected?

Additional costs differ depending on the holiday home itself and especially on the country. They are due on location unless they are already included in the total rent. In case additional costs are calculated by person, babies and little children also count as full persons.

14. Who is in charge of the final cleaning?

Most of the time, you can order a final cleaning. The final cleaning may be included in the total rent already; in this case it will be stated accordingly in the house description.

Attention: The final cleaning does not substitute the basic cleaning, i.e. you have to leave the holiday home neat and tidy.

15. Is it generally possible to exceed the capacities of a house, i.e. rent it for more persons than indicated?

It is not possible to rent a holiday home for more persons than the number indicated in the house description. It is, however, possible to send a binding request to the landlord. Some landlords charge extra fees for overcapacities.

16. Where do I find the exact address of the holiday home?

You will receive the address with the travel documents.

17. Is it allowed to bring pets?

It is stated in the house description if you can bring one pet with you. Two or more pets, as well as other pets than dogs, have to be confirmed by the landlord by sending a binding request.

Attention: It is obligatory to register your pet after the booking. If you wish to do so, please contact us via our hotline or e-mail.

18. When will I receive the risk coverage certificate?

You will receive the insurance voucher with your booking confirmation from the tour operator.

19. Does Casamundo consider special requests?

Of course the CASAMUNDO Team is always trying to keep clients happy and satisfied. Special demands will therefore always be considered and forwarded to the landlord. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee for the compliance of such customer requests.
